Andrea Coroi

Andrea was born in Rome in 1965 and spent his childhood on the banks of the Tevere river acquiring passion and a great river fishing experience. The challenge with the big carps of the river became his favorite fishing and to improve his skills he test and optimize any new tackle and information he receive from the most important English carp angler.

After a long period working in the fashion business in 1999 Andrea turned his passion into a job opening the fishing shop in Perugia "L’azzurro e il Verde" specialized in carp fishing. From this time his experience in carp fishing grow every year, having fishing experience with the greatest Italian and European carp anglers. Andrea is one of the pioneers who started to fish in the biggest and wildest Italian lakes, landing numbers of big wild carp and one of the first authors of articles related to carp fishing in magazines like “Pescare Carpfishing” with whom he collaborated for about 16 years.

The passion for the great rivers remains strong but for many years he fished in the biggest Italian and European lakes (Spain, France, Croatia, Romania, Hungary, Switzerland, Slovenia). He’s adventurous spirit led him to the constant search new challenge, like exploring totally unknown lakes in Morocco targeting big carps.
This desire for extreme challenges, brought him to Capo Verde hunting for sharks from the shores, with extremely good results. All this without ever forgetting his beginnings and his passion for river fishing, wich he still doing almost every day in the Tevere river who flows just behind he’s shop targeting barbel and chub.

A fisherman who has always shown complete and pure passion. The “Coroi Team” founded by Andrea 12 years ago still one of the most popular and well known carp fishing team of central Italy, all because of the passion and enthusiasm that Andrea is able to convey. The "CoroiTeam" collaborates with the magazine "World carp” and provide usefull information to many beginners, helping them to join the fabulous world of carp fishing.
