Andrea Passeggieri was born in Roma, where he still lives, on November 20, 1980. He approached fishing when he was 13, trying several styles such as spinning and Bolognese, until he fell in love with carp fishing in 2000. Since then, he practised all waters in the Rome area, catching the beautiful carp of river Tevere and hard fighting grass carp of Albano lake. The contact with wild nature and the early big fish gave him strong emotions, so he seriously took carp fishing as main fishing, spending most of his spare time to study and learn everything about it. Nowadays he has a deep knowledge about the technique, as well as full experience of wonderful volcanic lakes existing in his region, where he catches huge carp on a regular basis.

In order to increase his experience and skills, he decided to also fish abroad, looking for different waters possibly holding dream fish. Favourite places are France and Romania, countries which have seen him catch big carp in very difficult and huge lakes. But he also loves carping in small lakes and pits, as he believes that those environments can offer amazing experiences as well. 

In the recent years, he has written many articles for several magazines and has worked with companies belonging to carp bait industry.

At recent Carp Italy show, when asked about K-Karp new teamwork, he said: “I’m really happy to cooperate with one of the best companies in the whole fishing tackle market!”.
